Turfgrass is a multibillion dollar industry in the United States, and a large part of its management includes pesticides and fertilizers. BioWorks products are primarily biological and organic, which the company knows will provide it with an edge for turfgrass managers sensitive to the concerns for a safer environment.
At BioWorks, Morrell will provide technical sales and support for the United States turf market including private and public golf courses, commercial and institutional grounds, and sports fields.
BioWorks products for turfgrass care will be available Jan. 1, 2014, and will include fertilizers, fungicides and insecticides.
