Trussville, Ala.-Jimmy Leith is an 11-year green industry veteran with eight years experience owning his own company, Landscape Managers. When his brother Jeremy expressed an interest in joining his brother full-time in the industry, the two got together to open their own Spring-Green Lawn Care.
The business, which opened this month, will serve Trussville, Vestavia, Birmingham, Mountain Brook, Inverness, and Hoover, Ala., as well as a portion of Jefferson County. It also marks Jeremy Leith's official entry into the lawn and tree care industry after eight years of working as a critical care trauma nurse.
"I wanted to have a business that was home based," said Jeremy, who still travels to California to work as a critical care nurse four days each month, "and I wanted to continue to build relationships with customers and the community, to do good quality work for people. Spring-Green Lawn Care seemed immediately like a natural fit for that goal."
Spring-Green delivers traditional and organic lawn and tree care services to residential and commercial clients nationwide. A recognized leader in the professional lawn and tree care industry, Spring-Green has been beautifying neighborhoods and communities for more than 36 years.
The decision to purchase a Spring-Green Lawn Care franchise was an easy one, according to Jeremy.
"It was immediately clear that Spring-Green is a top-notch company that truly cares about their franchisees. They have great goals and great support staff who I enjoy being around. They also do a lot of teaching and directing, and when you're starting up a new business you really need that kind of shoulder to lean on."
"We are very excited to add Jimmy and Jeremy to our Spring-Green family," said James Young, Spring-Green Lawn Care's president. "Between them they have many years of experience in and knowledge of the green industry and we are confident they will be yet another asset to our team. In the past two months we have added four new franchisees with green industry businesses and experience, setting the tone and building momentum as we move into 2014."
Jeremy has 11 years of part-time experience in the landscaping industry, including eight years of part-time work at Landscape Managers. While the brothers are co-owners of the new Spring-Green business, Jeremy will be the managing owner overseeing all daily operations with Jimmy primarily there for oversight and advice. "We can't do it without each other," said Jimmy. Together they plan to expand their territory within the
