In 1953, Bob Walker turned 7 years old and received a Christmas gift he would never forget. His dad, Max Walker, had really outdone himself. The full-time farmer had put in many hours, after long days on the family farm, to give his son a child's dream: a minature model Caterpillar. The miniature Caterpillar, later known as the Power Track, was originally powered by pedaling, and then later driven by a 4 hp Kohler engine. The Power Track brought hours of enjoyment around the farm for Bob, Ruth, Dean and Nina Walker, but it also served as a powerful demonstration of Max's gift for equipment design.

The Model MT 26 hp EFI tractor features a 26 hp EFI (electronic fuel injection) Kohler OHV V-Twin air-cooled engine, which can save 25 percent in fuel costs compared to a carbureted engine, clam-shell style body and chassis and shock-mounted instrument panel.
There is a remote air intake for engine, 10-bushel (12.4-cubic-foot) catcher and 10.5-inch (27-centimeter) grass handling blower. The splined PTO drive shaft features a quick-disconnect coupler. The tractor also features a 4.7-gallon fuel tank and 7 mph ground speed.
