Hartford Welcomes TCI EXPO

TCI EXPO, the world’s largest tree care trade show and conference, is coming to Hartford, Connecticut.

The biggest names in tree care from all over the U.S. will meet at the Connecticut Convention Center, Thursday, Nov. 13 through Saturday, Nov. 15, for workshops, seminars and demonstrations, not to mention an entire show floor packed with new gear and impressive tree care equipment.

Here are some highlights:

  • Live Demonstration Tree: Thursday, Nov. 13 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) at Connecticut Convention Center-Check out our 30-foot tree set in the middle of the trade show floor amidst aisles of equipment, new products and supplies. Plus, there will be live arborist demonstrations by tree climbing champions, gear giveaways from the biggest names in the industry and more.
  • TCIAF Student Career Days Tree Climbing Competition: Friday, Nov. 14 (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) at Bushnell Park, Hartford, Connecticut-College and high school tree care students from around the U.S. will participate in friendly competitions to demonstrate their tree climbing skills and expertise to win prizes! And, this year, international tree climbing champion Mark Chisholm will demonstrate and give tips on proper climbing techniques. In addition to the climbing, Student Career Days hosts a variety of other educational seminars, workshops and even a job and internship fair, which gives students enrolled in horticulture, forestry and related programs an inside look at the field they’re studying.

  • Friday, Nov. 15 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 16 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
