PGMS School Of Grounds Management Summer Conference To Focus On Water Conservation

BALTIMORE, Md. – Grounds professionals looking for the latest education on water conservation for landscapes and sports fields should look no further than Sacramento, California, when the Professional Grounds Management Society presents its School of Grounds Management Summer Conference from Aug. 3-5, 2015.

Attendees to the PGMS event will go on behind-the-scenes tours of the University of California, Davis campus, a 4-star Landscape Management and Operations Accreditation campus, Raley Field, home of the Sacramento River Cats, and Maple Rock Garden & Farm and High Hand Nursery. There is also an optional tour to Napa Valley Wineries being held on Wednesday, Aug. 5.

In addition, educational seminars will provide a multidimensional learning opportunity and allow attendees to learn from their fellow professionals in the industry. Topics to be covered include “Using Technology to Conserve Water,” “Managing and Maintaining your Campus Assets (Trees)” and “Keeping Your Maintenance Budget on Tract.” A reception at the hotel will provide attendees networking opportunities and a chance to meet and exchange ideas with each other.
