Ruppert Landscape Announces New Branch and Promotion

Thor Grenier (3)LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has expanded its Georgia operations to include a new branch in Mableton, Georgia. That branch will be led by Thor Grenier, who has been promoted to the position of branch manager.

This branch, serving the Atlanta region, joins 16 existing branch offices that are located in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina, supporting both the landscape construction and landscape management divisions of the company. The opening of the Mableton Landscape Management branch was started as a satellite operation over one year ago, as right in line with the company’s five-year plan.

Thor has been with the Ruppert organization for 14 years and has served in multiple positions including field manager, senior supervisor, area manager and enhancement manager. As a branch manager, he will be responsible for the overall development and health of the branch including strategic planning, budgeting, training and higher education, and all day-to-day operations.

Thor graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor of Technology degree in plant science. He is a Georgia Certified Landscape Professional (GCLP), Georgia Certified Pesticide Applicator and holds a Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Blue Card. Thor has also been honored with a Branch Impact Award in 1997, 2007 and 2010. Thor, his wife, Kelly, and their daughter, Caroline, currently reside in Grayson, Georgia.
