SAVANNAH, GA — JCB’s 3CX compact backhoe loader, 100C-1 compact excavator and Tier 4 Final Loadall telescopic handlers have been named among Construction Equipment magazine’s Top 100 New Products for 2015. New technology, new product lines, existing products that have been significantly enhanced or new products that increase competition in their categories are eligible for inclusion in this award program, which marks its 25th anniversary this year.
“We’re very pleased that Construction Equipment has recognized so many JCB machines in its Top 100 New Products for 2015,” said Thom Peebles, Vice President of Marketing for JCB North America. “At JCB, we’re always looking for ways to design, engineer and produce equipment that helps our customers do their jobs better, faster and more efficiently. It’s very gratifying to see our efforts recognized by CE’s experienced and knowledgeable editorial staff.”
Each of the JCB machines included in the Top 100 Products for 2015 offer unique features or innovations designed to answer a wide range of user needs. The new 3CX compact backhoe is a versatile machine suitable for road maintenance, urban construction, utility work or any task that requires maximum performance in a compact package. Developed to answer a growing need for powerful compact excavators, JCB’s new 100C-1 conventional tail-swing model features an H-design undercarriage, steel body panels, a spacious operator environment and a 74-hp Tier 4 Final engine. JCB’s Tier 4 Final Loadall telescopic handler range includes compact models as well as larger, more powerful units. All are designed for intuitive, easy-to-use operation.
Construction Equipment’s Top 100 New Products award program was conceived to call special attention to the most significant new products announced each year. These awards serve to emphasize innovations, highlighting manufacturers who are investing in research and development, resulting in a more competitive marketplace. The CE editorial team reviews several hundred product introductions each year, using their years of equipment experience to independently select the Top 100.
