Husqvarna Group, producer of outdoor power products has selected Telenor Connexion as its global connectivity partner for the next generation of connected robotic lawn mowers and its associated services.

This summer, robotic lawn mowers will be fitted with the Telenor Connexion solution to provide customers an updated access to innovative services such as remote monitoring through smartphone applications, an attentive anti-theft system and built-in safety measures.

Operating in more than 100 countries, Husqvarna Group required a global, secure and future-proof connectivity solution to reduce complexity and facilitate an international roll-out, while ensuring high quality.

Under the agreement, Telenor Connexion will supply Husqvarna with a managed connectivity solution that automates the delivery and management of services to the connected devices, including a global SIM, access to a Service Portal and a proactive 365/24/7 IoT dedicated Service Desk.
