ATLANTA, GA — Hanwha Surfaces, the American subsidiary of South Korean-based conglomerate Hanwha L&C, announced it is moving to a direct sales model in New England, Michigan and Ohio. On the heels of the opening of its Philadelphia warehouse and showroom in October 2015, this transition will help reach consumers in these high volume territories with the HanStone Quartz product line.

Hanwha Surfaces is moving its entire production to North America in the coming year. “New England, Michigan and Ohio have always been strong areas for sales for Hanwha Surfaces,” says Hanwha’s VP of Strategy Dan Boyd. “With our recent warehouse openings in Atlanta and Philadelphia we are better equipped to directly service these territories.”

The company plans to open warehouses in these areas starting with Springfield, MA in the next year and in Ohio in the near future.
