Deal with Debris

The 8-bushel BOSS-Vac Collection Systems from BOB-CAT was created for its FastCat mowers, and are available in either a Dump From Seat or a two-bag model.

The front counterweight system employs easy-to-handle suitcase weights that are strategically placed where the weight is most effective without impeding the operator’s line of sight. The weights are easily removed and replaced without tools.

The Dump From Seat model features a low center of gravity for stability and a patent-pending double-hinge lift-pivot-dump system. This system gives operators the rear visibility they need and allows them to empty the hopper within inches of an obstacle. The bumper hitch mounts using existing holes in the mower and the quick disconnect bumper mount allows the system to be attached and detached easily.

Each of the models features an oversized air vent hood that allows high volumes of air and debris to enter the collection system and provides plenty of area to exhaust the air. Debris is moved into the collection hopper without clogging through a large 15.31-inch blower fan and 6-inch-wide blades.

New, Simplified Turf Tracer S-Series

Exmark has redesigned its Turf Tracer S-Series. The new 2015 model has an electric clutch, which simplifies the deck drive system and increases its durability, as well as eliminates nearly 250 component parts compared to its predecessors.

A new structure for the engine deck and tank support was developed to lower the machine’s center of gravity, and the new model utilizes new materials in a number of areas, including a more robust, durable discharge chute and more abrasion resistant metal in the front deck height adjusters. In addition, an hour meter is standard to help professionals more accurately track maintenance intervals.

A choice of 36-, 48- or 52-inch UltraCut Series 3 cutting decks are available, and there are a number of engine options, including the Kohler PCV680 EFI-Propane power plant, and a variety of Kawasaki engine options, two of which are CARB compliant.
