CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – BWISE Manufacturing, a company that manufactures a full line of trailers from utility, landscape, car haulers, equipment and dump trailers under the name BWISE Trailers, has acquired Bri-Mar Manufacturing.
Bri-Mar was founded in 1995 and has over 250 dealers throughout the United States and Canada. BWISE Owner Brian Wise was one of the original founders of Bri-Mar, which has been owned by an investment group since 1998.
BWISE has the equipment to manufacture all cylinders, hoists and machined parts in-house that Bri-Mar does not have. BWise also has some other keys components that Bri-mar was missing such as laser cutting, better MRP system and experienced design team. Bri-Mar specializes in hydraulic dump trailers.
The company plans to sell the Bri-Mar Trailers and the BWISE Trailers under their own name, and will be utilizing both manufacturing plants consisting of 80,000 square feet on Wayne Avenue and over 100,000 square feet on South Main Street, both in Chambersburg, Pa., with a combined employment of over 100 employees.
