RACINE, Wis. – As part of its ongoing partnership with the AMSOIL World Championship Snowmobile Derby, CASE Construction Equipment is auctioning off a new SR175 Skid Steer Loader.

All proceeds will benefit the United Way. The Skid Steer is autographed by Derby champions dating back to the very first event in 1964, won by Stan Hayes when he was 13 years old. The blind auction will begin at 12 p.m. CST on Jan. 21 and end Jan. 24, 2014, at 5 p.m. CST. Bidding will start at $15,000 via CASEce.com/sslauction.

Now in its 51st year, the Derby is held in Eagle River, Wis., and draws more than 40,000 spectators per year, making it one of the largest winter sports events in the Midwest. This year’s Derby took place Jan. 16-19.

In addition to the SR175 for auction, CASE also supplied the event with a variety of skid steers, compact track loaders and wheel loaders to help build the snow course and keep it maintained throughout the three-day event.
