David Gunter has joined the Everris Ornamental Horticulture team as a product manager operating out of the Dublin, Ohio, headquarters.
Gunter’s primary responsibilities include supporting the Americas ornamental horticulture marketing manager in the execution of category marketing plans, development of new markets, and overall portfolio and project management.
A resident of Hilliard, Ohio, Gunter has extensive experience in product development, project management and product life cycle management. His most recent position was with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company as portfolio manager supporting the Scotts Turfbuilder, Ortho and Songbird Selections brands. Prior to that, he served as the manager of new product development for Huffy Bicycle Company, where his accomplishments include leading the development of the best-selling product in the company’s history.
Gunter holds an M.B.A. from Ashland University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Wright State University. He has been awarded 10 United States patents for new product designs and has nearly 25 years of product and project management experience.
