Fogarty Named TOCA Environmental Communicator of the Year

PORTLAND, Ore. – Phil Fogarty, Weed Man sub-master franchisor, Euclid, Ohio, and active in environmental issues through such associations as Project EverGreen and PLANET, has been named the 2013 Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) Environmental Communicator of the Year.
 
Fogarty, also owner of Crowley’s Vegetation Management, received the honor at the annual TOCA conference held recently here. The program is sponsored by Project EverGreen. The program is in its 15th year of recognizing individuals in the green industry for outstanding communications efforts regarding environmental issues.

"Thank you TOCA for being the unsung heroes of the green industry . and for making all of us better at our jobs and for making our industry bigger and for helping us help others to be better stewards of our environment," said Fogarty on receiving the award. "You are so much more than communicators . you are all influencers of the future."
