CALABASAS, Calif. – ValleyCrest Landscape Companies, has added Gareth Asten to its executive team. Gareth joins the Calabasas, Calif.-based firm as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Asten has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, operations and business leadership. His extensive experience includes strategic planning, driving profitable growth and capital and financial strategies. Prior to joining ValleyCrest, he served in various roles at Bolthouse Farms, the leading grower and processor of fresh carrots, natural juice
beverages and smoothies. Most recently he served as vice president of finance & planning, and played an instrumental role in building a high performance finance team.
Previously he served as senior associate at Willis Stein & Partners, acting chief financial officer/vice president of business development & planning at Ubiquity Brands, and mergers & acquisitions analyst at Lazard Freres. Asten holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from DePaul University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
