Hunter Industries was recently presented with the Workplace Excellence Medallion from the San Diego Society for Human Resources Management. This honor was presented for the outstanding efforts of the Hunter Industries Human Resources team, led by Vice President Tamara Furman. Factors such as company size, employee retention and HR practices that create business success and profitability were grounds for choosing the recipients.
The San Diego Society for Human Resources created this award in 2000 with the purpose of educating and enlightening business leaders in San Diego about the value and contribution exceptional HR practices can make to the success of an organization. It was founded with the belief that effective HR practices promote both employee satisfaction and business success.
