FAIRFIELD, Ohio – Last week, FINN Corporation held its annual Dealer Sales Conference in Fairfield, Ohio. All North American dealers were represented as well as its Australian/New Zealand distributor. Participants were treated to nearly two days of FINN equipment and consumables sales education, policy discussions, along with a full afternoon of field demonstrations and training. As part of the conference, FINN recognized its dealers with awards for excellence in partnership, leadership and growth based on their 2012 performance. 
Hydrograsscorp.com was awarded the 2012 Don Sharp Dealer of the Year award. The award is named after a long-time FINN employee, now retired, who was very instrumental in making FINN the market leader that it is today. Hydrograsscorp.com sells, rents and services FINN equipment in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York.
Other dealer award winners included RoadBuilders Machinery, covering Kansas, Nebraska, western Missouri and western Iowa, and Highway Equipment Company of western Pennsylvania, as runners-up to the Dealer of the Year, rounding out the top three FINN dealers for the year. Turf Equipment & Supply Company of eastern Pennsylvania was named 2012 New Dealer of the Year for its impressive start as a FINN distributor. RoadBuilders Machinery also won the Consumables & TRU-Mulch Dealer of the Year for their efforts in selling and promoting the FINN hydroseeding materials lines.
In addition to the awards handed out by FINN Corporation, the dealers recognized a FINN employee that they felt gave exceptional service to the distribution network. The Jerry Malcolm Dealer Choice Award was given to former FINN employee, John Imm. Imm recently left the company and is now a FINN customer, but during his tenure at FINN, he developed strong dealer and industry relationships and was counted on to be there for both the dealer network and end users 24/7.
