LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has promoted Jack Jones to the position of region manager where he will oversee branches in Raleigh and Charlotte, N.C., and Atlanta, Ga. In this role, Jones will help maximize the division’s capabilities in people development, customer service and profitability. 
Jones, who has been with the Ruppert organization for eight years, brings over 12 years of industry experience including positions as a sales manager, production manager and project manager. He honed his very valuable training and people development skills while serving nine years in the U.S. Marine Corps with increasing levels of responsibility that included drill instructor, senior drill instructor and scheduling chief. In 2010, Jones received one of the company’s top honors, the Achievement Award, which is presented to the individual who has demonstrated outstanding job execution and high quality results. Jones, his wife Allie and their son Lane currently reside in Columbia, Md., but will be relocating to Charlotte, N.C., in early 2014.
