LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has promoted Mike Felts to the position of
operations manager in the Maryland Landscape Construction Branch.
In his role, he will be responsible for all aspects of production in the branch including all field operations, personnel, vehicles and equipment, safety, subcontracts, direct cost accounts and selected overhead expenses.
Felts is 2005 graduate of Virginia Tech, where he majored in business management. Prior to starting with Ruppert, he was a partner in a general contracting company in North Carolina and served six years as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, deployed to Afghanistan for two of those years. He has been with the Ruppert organization for three years and has served in the roles of estimator and production manager prior to his promotion to operations manager.
