Netafim Wins 2013 Stockholm Industry Water Award

Netafim has been named the 2013 Stockholm Industry Water Award laureate. The commendation will be presented at a World Water Week ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden, on Sept. 3.

The prestigious award recognizes Netafim’s innovative approaches to sustainable water management and the development of new products and technologies in agricultural irrigation that help mitigate world hunger.

The laureate is granted by the Stockholm International Water Institute in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

Netafim is an active participant in the global effort to promote sustainable water management, and the company’s worldwide presence enables it to make a significant impact on water usage. Netafim operates 16 manufacturing plants in North and South America, Europe and Asia, including Israel, and serves an ever-increasing number of agriculturists in more than 100 countries.
