NH Landscape Association Holds Workshop for Landscapers

The New Hampshire Landscape Association has teamed with Milton CAT to arrange a Build
a Better Landscape Business workshop, encouraging landscapers from across the state to
get out of trucks and into the classroom.

Landscapers will be bringing their own company financials while the workshop’s instructors,
actual top-100 landscape company contractors from all over the U.S. and Canada, assist
with organizing for a successful 2013 and beyond.

The NH Landscape Association made sure this is not a sit-back-and-listen workshop.
Rather, local business people will leave the workshop with an operating budget built with
their own financial numbers, specifically for their own company. Included will be a pricing
system that calculates competitive prices to cover costs and make a reasonable profit.
Landscapers will learn how money is lost to waste and inefficiency and learn landscape
construction and maintenance estimating methods that improve field productivity.

The workshop will be held at Milton CAT, Warner N.H., over a two-day period from January 24-25, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day. Fees include both days and lunches, NHLA Members $110 per person, and for non-members the fee is $125 per person.

Attendees must bring one laptop computer per company with a wireless network card and their financials. To register online, go to www.bit.ly/nhlaworkshop or contact Amanda Johnson at the Landscape Management Network
at info@landscapemanagementnetwork.com or 888-347-9864. Due to the interactive nature of this NHLA-sponsored workshop, registration is limited to just 30 persons, so landscapers are asked reserve your seats as quickly as possible.
