HERNDON, Va. – Networking, collaborative learning and professional development, plus the launch of the new PLANET brand, lead the agenda for PLANET’s Great Escape event, scheduled to take place at The Atlantis, Paradise Island, The Bahamas, Feb. 26-28, 2015.

Great Escape brings together landscape industry company owners and upper-level management for a few days of networking and leadership education from well-known national speakers that bring their "outside-the-box" perspective to corporate development.

The opening keynote session will feature Dr. Jeff Kaplan of the J. Alan Group, who will discuss why your network equals your net worth, focusing on the power of human connectedness to drive personal and professional performance.

Other keynote speakers during the week include David Horsager, who will discuss how the world’s most successful people gain and keep the trust of their customers and colleagues; and Frank Bucaro, an ethics expert who is a leading advocate on the benefits of ethics and values.

With a focus on collaborative learning, attendees will be assigned to a group of non-competing peers upon registration. Following the educational session each day, the presenter will assign questions relevant to the topic to each group to discuss. After the discussions, the questions and answers will be shared with the entire group.

Great Escape also includes time for networking during receptions and special events, including a sunset catamaran cruise to benefit PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation, and a leadership awards breakfast sponsored by Bartlett Tree Experts.
