BOCA RATON, Fla.- Q.E.P. Co., Inc. (OTC:QEPC.PK) announced in early December the appointment of Brian Kura as its new executive vice president. Kura joins Q.E.P. after spending the past 16 years at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. Most recently Kura was president of Scotts LawnService. In this role Kura had full P&L responsibility over this $300 million do-it-for-me segment of the business, said Q.E.P. Co. in a news release.

Kura graduated from the University of Arizona and also has an MBA from Duke’s FUQUA School of Business. Kura will be headquartered in Q.E.P. Co.’s Boca Raton, Florida headquarters.

Q.E.P. Co., founded in 1979, markets hardwood flooring, flooring installation tools, adhesives and other flooring-related products, more than 7,000 products, according to the company website.
