IRVINE, Calif. — Signature Control Systems Inc. has hired Adam Dunford to support the company’s growing sales department.
An 18-year sales and marketing executive with extensive experience in the landscape irrigation industry, Dunford will be responsible for increasing the company’s market share, particularly within the southern California and Mexico regions. In this role, he will oversee all specification efforts within the landscape architects and irrigation designer business sector. He’ll also help promote the use of Signature’s broad array of patented irrigation technology solutions as a member of the company’s executive management team.
Throughout the course of his nearly 20-year career in sales and marketing, Dunford has developed a strong track record leading new product development teams through innovative and impactful marketing launch campaigns. Key to his success has been his ability to seek out market trends, interpret them and leverage contemporary marketing tools that increase the effectiveness of email, online and social media advertising, while maintaining strong personal and mutually beneficial relationships.
These relationships, coupled with the fact that this is a highly unique time for the region’s landscape irrigation industry, are what drew Dunford to Signature. “I’m excited to bring my relationships and expertise to work for Signature at a time when there’s never been a greater need for cutting-edge technologies and pinpoint, customer-centric irrigation solutions,” explained Dunford, who earned his master’s degree in business administration from George Washington University and B.A. from Brigham Young University.
