COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. – Most 22 year-olds simply hope to find meaningful employment, much less their dream job. When Spring-Green Lawn Care franchise owner Ryan Meinika was that age, he was well on his way to becoming the successful entrepreneur he is today.

The owner of Spring-Green in Columbia City since 2005, Meinika is approaching a decade serving the greater Fort Wayne area. Now, after having already been elected Chairman of Spring-Green’s National Advisory Council and running a new state-of-the-art facility, the Ball State University graduate is eyeing a level of success that is constantly being raised.

Meinika has been providing lawn and tree care services throughout the Fort Wayne and Columbia City, Indiana, areas for more than 10 years, and can point to multiple facets of his business that reflect his achievements.

For starters, Meinika was elected by his Midwest franchise owner peers to represent the territory on Spring-Green’s National Advisory Council.

"I was appointed to the role of chairman in the second year of my term by the rest of the Midwest franchisees," said Meinika. "Together, we discuss ideas, answer questions, and solve any problems that other Spring-Green franchise owners may face. I’m proud to represent them."

Meinika has also recently moved his business to a new facility on Highway 30 which, he says, will let him provide an unparalleled level of service to customers.

"With our new facility, we can keep our equipment as pristine as possible, allowing us to provide our customers with the best quality service that our technicians will employ on a daily basis," says Meinika. "We also have two acres of lawn in front of the facility which will show anyone driving by what we can really do for their lawns. It’s a great way to illustrate our value."

With projections to surpass $1 million in yearly revenue, Meinika has found that Spring-Green’s unique level of franchise support has allowed him to exceed even his most optimistic expectations. Backed by a support system that provides franchise owners things like improved operational efficiency, increased buying power, business diversification and access to industry-leading marketing and technology, Meinika is well-prepared to provide comprehensive, knowledgeable services to his Fort Wayne area customers.

"It’s franchise owners like Ryan that help make Spring-Green the successful organization it is today," said Ted Hofer, CEO. "Ryan is a great asset to our National Advisory Council, and we look forward to seeing his business continue to thrive."
