The New England chapter of the Sports Turf Managers Association (NESTMA) has awarded Jacobsen dealer MTE Turf Equipment Solutions with its 2012 Vendor of the Year Award. The award was presented during the organization’s annual meeting in Providence, R.I. 
Jacobsen is a Textron Inc. Company, and MTE Turf Equipment Solutions is the exclusive Jacobsen dealer for Upstate New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
“MTE Turf Equipment Solutions has been a long-time supporter of NESTMA and the sports industry as a whole. They continue to be active in the association and consistently participate in our workshops and field days,” said Nick Caggiano, president of the NESTMA. “The MTE staff makes a difference in the field by truly putting the customer’s needs first.”
NESTMA members come from all segments of the sports turf industry: municipal parks, public and private schools, universities, colleges, professional stadiums, educators and vendors. The association works in cooperation with local, regional and national sports, grounds landscape and other related organizations to produce safe, playable sports fields.
