SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Summit Truck Group and Summit Lease & Rental hosted a customer open house at their location on Thursday, June 25, 2015, with over 300 customers attending the event.
Summit’s Springfield location opened their new facility at 2635 E. Diamond Street two years ago, after supporting customers for 64 years at a location on Chestnut Street. Located conveniently off I-44, the new location is open seven days a week, and offers 28 service bays, four accelerated service bays, 31 OEM-trained and ASE-certified technicians, a driver’s lounge and over $1.5 million in parts inventory. A fully-enclosed CNG/LNG bay is available to work on natural gas vehicles, and the facility also offers a drive-through wash bay and a DPF cleaning machine. Financing and vehicles for lease or rental are also available at the Springfield location.
The open house was co-sponsored by Summit and vendors Ace Manufacturing, Air-Weigh, Atro, Automann, Bendix, Cummins, Delco Remy, Eaton, ECCO, Fleetguard Filters, Fleetrite, Heavy Duty Marketing, Horton, Idealease, Luberfiner, Maxxima Lights, Navistar, Pana-Pacific, Phillips, Silverback, and SKF. Summit displayed a number of new International trucks and tractors during the open house, along with the latest product offerings from our sponsors. A variety of used medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks of all makes were also available at the open house.
According to Steve Cook, general manager for Summit Truck Group of Springfield, “The open house gave us a chance to visit with all of our customers and show them all what the dealership has to offer in terms of vehicles, parts, service, financing, and lease and rental. We have many long-term, loyal customers, and this event was a way to thank them for their business. The Springfield team enjoyed spending time with our customers in a more relaxed setting.”
