Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care, Denver, Colo., a member of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), participated in PLANET’s Legislative Day on the Hill in Washington,
D.C., on July 10, 2012.

PLANET members converged on Capitol Hill to meet with their local officials and discuss a wide array of issues impacting the landscape, lawn care and irrigation and water management industries, including H-2B, the Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Prevention, Education and Research Act of 2011 (S. 1381), and H.R. 872, the Reducing the Regulatory Burdens Act of 2011.

"We take this opportunity very seriously, as the decisions being made in Washington are sure to affect us for years to come," said Swingle President John Gibson. "Our goal is for the current bill and future legislation to positively impact our industries, our companies and our communities."
