HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.  – Orange-county based Tierra Verde Landscape, Inc. was recently awarded a coveted state-wide Trophy Award from the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) for excellence in maintaining a large HOA community. The award was given for the outstanding work at The Waterfront Community Association in Huntington Beach. CLCA is the only statewide trade organization of licensed landscape contractors and suppliers.

Award entries in the CLCA Trophy Awards program are judged in person by a panel of expert landscape professionals from other regions in the state who spend countless hours closely inspecting each nomination for the quality of workmanship and materials utilized. Each landscaping entry must adhere to industry standards and have properly shown an execution of detail in plant placement, turf conditions, functionality, efficiency of irrigation and overall presentation.

Tierra Verde Landscape has maintained the landscape at The Waterfront Community Association since 2007. The Waterfront Community showcases one of the most detailed landscapes at a condominium complex in the county. Every plant is cut to its natural form, including  the water-efficient plant materials Tierra Verde converted over the years. Tierra Verde takes pride in maintaining water conserving irrigation around the property and also maintains a unique fertigation system that is housed right on the grounds. Fertigation allows nutrients to be applied frequently at low rates directly to the rootzones through the irrigation system, creating brighter, lusher plant material.

Tierra Verde Landscape also was recognized by the Orange County CLCA with five local awards in August 2013.
