ALBANY, Ore. – The Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance is excited to announce their Oregon Field Day will be on June 20 this year.
The Field Day will consist of informative keynote speakers including Dr. Michael Richardson from University of Arkansas; Dr. Cale Bigelow from Purdue University; Kenneth Hignight from Nexgen Turf Research; Crystal Rose-Fricker from Pure Seed Testing; and more. The informational speakers will cover a wide range of topics related to the importance of water conservation, and how it relates to turfgrass selection, planting and managing.
Customers and distributors can utilize proven TWCA-endorsed products by showing the end consumer they will not only save time and money, using these endorsed products will help to conserve our precious resources for future generations.
The Field Day will have organized tours of the research farm consisting of rainout shelters, shade trials, drought trials, salinity and low-maintenance studies. This will give attendees the opportunity to see TWCA’s science based research in person, and how it can relate to applicable use.
To top the day off there will be delicious food and raffle giveaways. Prizes will include Kindle tablets and gift cards. Attendees have the opportunity to double their chances at winning these great prizes by liking TWCA on Facebook, or following TWCA on Twitter up to a week prior to the Field Day to get double entered in the raffle!
