TWCA Hires New Program Administrator

The Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance has hired Jack Karlin as program administrator.

Karlin earned his Bachelor’s of Environmental Science from Oregon State in 2013 where he specialized in water science and policy with special emphasis on the principles of Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM). A member of the American Water Resource Association since 2013, he has participated in many professional development seminars covering IWRM case studies, drought and flood planning, and ecological services valuation.

His primary emphasis for the coming year is to grow membership of the TWCA. Relationships of special interest are architects, irrigation specialists and landscape designers. By developing new and dynamic partnerships with a broad spectrum of members TWCA will have myriad strategies to deal with the issues of water conservation.
