KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – UPI, a leading manufacturer and distributor of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and plant growth regulators for the turf care industry, has hired Mark DelSantro as its Northeast territory manager.
DelSantro, a graduate from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in horticulture and an MBA from Penn State University, brings extensive experience in the turfgrass management and sales industry to his new position. Before joining Phoenix Brands by UPI, DelSantro worked as an independent sales consultant for six years at Pocono Turf Supply in Horsham, Pa. Previously, DelSantro served as the Northeast territory manager for Syngenta, and worked for 17 years as a superintendent for various golf courses and country clubs in the Baltimore and Southern Pennsylvania area.
