Caldwell, Collier Elected to TCIA Board
The Tree Care Industry Association elected Kevin Caldwell to a three-year term on its board of directors. He is president of Caldwell Tree Care, Roswell, Ga.
Terrill R. Collier was installed as the chair of TCIA’s board of directors. He has been the owner, operator and president of Collier Arbor Care, Clackamas, Ore., since 1980.

The Connecticut Nursery & Landscape Association elected a new board of directors for 2009. The board includes Dawn Coffin, president; Todd Burnett, vice president; Steve Bousquet, treasurer; Bob Heffernan, executive secretary; Seb Ruffino, past president; Dave Taddei; Darryl Newman; Peter House; and Kevin Sullivan.

ANLA Presents Award, Launches Web Site
The American Nursery & Landscape Association presented its 2008 Retail Rising Star Award to Mark Ziemba, general manager of Russell’s Tree & Shrub Farm, East Amherst, N.Y. Ziemba has been with Russell’s since 2001. The company was founded in 1991 and is owned and operated by Russ Gullo.
