Ground Protection Signature Flooring systems introduces DuraDeck, a line of heavy-duty ground protection and access mats. DuraDeck 1 (DD1) is a .5-inch-thick recycled polyethylene plastic mat for protecting lawns and surfaces from damage by vehicles and equipment. Each 4-by-8-foot mat can support vehicles up to 60 tons. Mats are connected easily with DuraLink or PlastiLink connectors to form a continuous, solid roadway or platform. DD1 mats feature a double-traction tread design that includes two parallel traction treads positioned at a 90-degree angle to adjacent tread sets. DuraDeck 2 (DD2) shares the features of DD1, but offers a pedestrian-friendly surface on one side and the rugged traction design on the other side. Pass the Salt Becker Underwood has introduced a new tool to safely remove unwanted salt accumulations. SaLibré salts manager is recommended for reducing and managing salt accumulations in soils irrigated with recycled or marginal water. A biodegradable “quaternary soap,” SaLibré contains a mild organic acid and an organic alkanol amine “soap.” When added to salt-challenged soils, a chain of reactions in the soil allows calcium to become available for plant use. The freed calcium ions displace sodium ions at exchange sites on soil particles. SaLibré is non-caustic and biodegrades in the soil into basic minerals, carbon dioxide and water. |
